We recently received formal notification from Reside that Practical Completion (PC) of the new clubhouse will be achieved on 15 December 2023.
This is the news we have all been waiting for!!
It means we can now plan with a higher degree of certainty about when we can move into the new clubhouse.
We understand that PC dates may shift in the last, hectic 2 months of a build and that anything can go wrong to derail the plans. There is some commentary that PC will be achieved prior to the 15 December, but we are virtually ignoring that at this stage.
After much discussion, Amber is reasonably confident that if PC does occur on 15 December, we can be operating from the new clubhouse by mid-January 2023. No promises, just our best estimate at this stage. Amber is in very regular contact with our Consultant, ZS Hospitality Solutions about planning the transition. Some of the work has already been initiated and suppliers are generally being kept informed of our progress and our need for their services at short notice.
Some discussion has also been had about the possibility of opening Mini Golf earlier than mid-January, possibly only open to members initially and possibly operating the service out of the new or existing Pro Shop. There are several complicating factors in this part of the decision, but our aim is to open Mini Golf as soon as possible to maximise revenue during school holidays.
So, without being too confident, it looks like mid-January, in the new clubhouse, is the goal!
