Our Junior Program, managed by the Junior Committee and PGA Professionals, features weekly clinics and competitions. We also proudly host the Gary Player Junior Classic, upholding our commitment to nurturing the next generation of golfing talent for over four decades.

Junior Membership Categories
Pee Wee Junior Membership (11 & Under) – $100 per year
- For children under 11 getting started in golf
- Access to the Par 3 course and practice facilities
- Saturdays at 8:15am: Pee Wees’ 9-hole competition on the Par 3 course (open to non-members)
Junior Membership (12 – 17) – $300 per year
- Access to the main 18-hole course, Par 3 course, and practice facilities
- Daily competition play and exclusive Saturday morning tee times
- Saturday afternoon competition for Intermediate Juniors
Note: Junior Members must be approved by the Junior Committee & Club Professionals for 18-hole competitions on the main course.

Junior Clinics
Our Junior Clinics are crafted to introduce you to the game of golf, imparting essential rules and etiquette in a fun and relaxed environment where you can forge new friendships. Plus, no membership is necessary! We have a clear pathway in these classes with brand new levels so you can track your child’s progress and see them move through the ranks as they become more proficient.
After School Beginner Classes – Level 1 Putters & Level 2 Pitchers
- Perfect for new golfers looking to have fun and learn the basics
- 8-week program, 8 x 1-hour sessions per term
- Tuesdays/Fridays 3:45pm – 4:45pm, Tuesdays 7-8am & Saturdays 10:30-11:30am
- $195 per term
2025 Tuesday dates – 4th February

After School Intermediate Classes – Level 3 Pitchers
- Ideal for young golfers who want to continue developing their skills
- 8-week program, 8 x 1-hour sessions per term
- Thursdays 3:45pm – 4:45pm and 4:45pm – 5:45pm
- $195 per term
2025 dates – 6th February
Saturday Par 3 Come and Try Class – All levels welcome in the class
- The perfect introduction to golf
- Every Saturday from 7-8am
- $12 per class

JUNIOR SQUADS
Our Junior Squads take things to the next level, providing the platform for growth and advancement in your skills. Annual or term-based payments are available, with each squad member receiving a Pacific Junior shirt. To enrol, membership with Pacific is required. Once you’re a member, feel free to reach out to John Hempstock, our esteemed head PGA teaching professional who oversees all squads. John will happily chat with you, assess your level, and guide you to the ideal squad where you’ll have fun and flourish.
Development Squad
For Junior par 3 golfers looking to develop their skills
- Regular participation in PGC Saturday pee wee competitions and local JGQ 9-hole tournaments
- Every Thursday 4:45-5:45pm for 8 weeks
- 2025 start date 6th February
- $179 per term
Aspiring Squad
For junior golfers playing in the intermediate competition
- Work toward a GA handicap and compete in PGC Saturday intermediate competitions on the main course
- Every Saturday 1:30-2:30pm
- $179 per term
Advanced Squad
Aimed at juniors with a strong golfing ability who have a GA handicap of 10 or above
- Work toward a single figure handicap and compete in various tournaments
- Wednesdays from 4-5:15pm
- $195 per term
Elite Squad
For high-level junior golfers with a single figure handicap, aiming for a scratch or better handicap
- Regular competition in major events
- Every Wednesday from: 5:15-6:45pm (one hour of training & 30 minutes of fitness)
- $205 per term
COMPETITIONS
9-Hole Par 3 Comp
When: Saturday at 8:15am
Who: Beginner Juniors (Intermediate & Junior Members welcome)
Dive into a vibrant arena tailored for our young golfers, where competitive spirits soar amidst a backdrop of fun. It’s the perfect stage for budding talents to forge new friendships, refine their skills, and embrace the thrill of friendly competition on our 9-hole Par 3 course. And of course, win some amazing prizes!
9-Hole Main Course Comp
When: Saturday at 3:00pm
Who: Intermediate Juniors & Junior Members
Embark on an exhilarating golfing journey designed for young enthusiasts aged 12 and above, or those with a handicap of 10 or less in Par 3 competitions. This competition offers great exposure to our main course, with players teeing off from the front. Learn the etiquette and rules while you adapt to the course, with the chance to win some amazing prizes, all in the company of your peers.
9-Hole Main Course Comp
When: Friday at 3:30pm
Who: Junior Members with an 18-hole handicap
Step onto the main course and put your skills to the test in this exciting 9-hole competition. Open to junior members with an 18-hole handicap, this event is a fantastic way to sharpen your game, master course etiquette, and build confidence on the fairways. Tee off from the front and enjoy the thrill of friendly competition — plus, there are some great prizes up for grabs!
18-Hole Main Course Comp
When: Saturday from 6:00am
Who: Junior Members
Step into the realm of serious competition as aspiring golfers set their sights on establishing a Golf Australia handicap and conquering the challenge of 18 holes. Tee times are arranged to play alongside like-minded peers, making friends, enjoying some friendly competition and with the chance to win great prizes. For those under 15 years of age, there are dedicated spots for juniors. Over 15s can put their name anywhere on the time sheet.
