Golf Services Attendant (Entry Level)

If you’re looking to kickstart your career in a vibrant golfing environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Join as a retail staff member in our Pro Shop and provide exceptional service to our esteemed members and visitors.

Golf Operations Attendant (Higher Responsibilities) 

Are you someone with a passion for golf operations, seeking to enhance your expertise and grow within a dynamic golfing environment? As a Golf Operations Attendant, you’ll have the opportunity to deepen your involvement in the operational facets of our facilities and growing customer base.

Our expanded facilities will include:

• a 1,000sqm putting green
• short game facility consisting of two chipping greens and multiple bunkers
• driving range with Top Tracer technology
• 18-hole mini golf course
• indoor golf simulators powered by Trackman

About the Role & You

We are on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to join our team and play a pivotal role in the grand opening of our new clubhouse, Pro Shop, and golfing facilities. As part of our dynamic team, you’ll have opportunities for growth, development, and a chance to work in a picturesque setting.  The ideal candidates will exhibit flexibility in working varied shifts across a 7-day roster, including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities will differ based on the position (services vs operations) but will involve and are not limited to:

• Working across all areas of the Golf Department
• Delivering exceptional customer service to members and visitors
• Handling member and visitor inquiries efficiently
• Engaging in day-to-day golf shop duties and administrative tasks, including telephone and email correspondence, competition bookings, retail inquiries, and cart fleet management

Qualifications & Attributes

We’re seeking candidates with:

• An interest in golf
• Excellent customer service
• Retail experience is valued
• Reliable and organised, with professional personal presentation
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Proficiency in MiClub golf timesheet and competition software (preferred but not mandatory)
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (or willingness to obtain)

For those applying for the Golf Operations Attendant role, we’re also seeking:

• Prior experience or understanding in golf club operations
• Prior retail experience
• PGA Golf Professionals for golf operations with coaching opportunities
• PGA Associates currently enrolled in the PGA Member Pathway Program
