Join us at Pacific Golf Club this Melbourne Cup Day for a celebration of good food, great company and plenty of race-day atmosphere. Whether you’re joining us on the course first or coming along for lunch, settle in and enjoy a fantastic afternoon as we build up to the big race.
Start the day with our Greenskeeper Revenge at 8:00am. Played as a 4 Person Ambrose over 9 holes, this is golf with a twist. Our Greenskeepers get to turn the tables, setting up the course with tricky, unexpected and frustrating challenges designed to test your skills, patience and ability to laugh your way around the course. You’ve played golf their way all year… now it’s their turn to get revenge!
Joining us for lunch? Arrive from 11am and settle in for an afternoon featuring a delicious two-course lunch, live entertainment, Fashions on the Field and all the excitement as we count down to the Melbourne Cup at 2pm. View the menu.

Fundraising: Pacific is proud to be partnering with Breakthrough T1D (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) for this year’s event. The Breakthrough T1D team will be running a raffle and sweeps on the day to raise money. Breakthrough T1D has a vision is to create a world without Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) and they want to do this as fast as possible. There are 8 children diagnosed with T1D each day in Australia and from their day of Diagnosis they have to monitor the Blood Glucose levels continuously and administer insulin more than 4 times a day – EVERYDAY, for the rest of their life. Any support on the day, or prior is warmly welcomed for this incredible cause.
