The new era for PGC will be bursting with so many new offerings, becoming a one-stop-shop for golf, food and beverages. We’re set to become Carindale’s go-to destination, offering a new bar, bistro, beer garden, and restaurant with seasonal menus.

About the Role & You

PGC are seeking multiple Kitchen Hands to join our team. You’ll be part of a team of talented people looking to create exceptional experience for each and every customer. We are creating something special, so we need special people to join us on this exciting journey. If you think you are the right person for the role, we look forward to hearing from you. The successful applicant/s will be available to work a variety of shifts over a 7-day roster, including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Tasks & Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the position will include, but are not limited to,:

• Assisting with food preparation tasks
• Supporting chefs and cooks
• Organising kitchen tools and equipment
• Restocking kitchen supplies
• Packing and rotating stock
• Monitoring inventory levels and reporting shortages
• Ensuring kitchen, workstations and equipment are kept clean and tidy at all times

Qualifications & Attributes

• Hospitality experience
• Current food safety qualifications
• Experience in high volume kitchen environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Fit to perform manual handling tasks
• Knowledgeable of work health and safety
• First Aid certificate (an advantage)
• Proof of working rights in Australia
